Northumbria TRF - Runs List 2010

aaarivercrossing.jpg

Below are the group's arranged trail rides. If you would like to go on a run click on the pink highlighted link which will open your email and then send your request with your contact details. Places on runs aren't limited (unless otherwise stated) so there is no need to sign up more than a month in advance. If you sign up and are given details of where and when to meet and then can't make it please contact the run leader by telephone so they and any one else on the run aren't waiting for you to turn up. Most runs follow a similar format:

1. Meet at a starting point, often near a petrol station so everyone can get fuelled up as there are few open petrol stations in the countryside these days.
2. Make sure you get there in time to get ready and leave at the time notified.
3. The run leader will know the route and lead you round.
4. Gates, the first person after the leader opens it and the next person through after the leader shuts it (know how many riders there are so you don't loose any one).
5. Lunch stop, this varies from a top up of fuel and a mars bar to a Sunday lunch at a pub (check with your run leader before hand)
6. More trail riding back to the start point and home to wash your bike.
